Add to that a motorhome park and 'Boatshed' Cabins, a 2 bedroom bach cottage and we have a range of accommodation options.

Location / Distances
Just 80km north of Auckland in the centre of Leigh village. Stroll to local eats, bar, shop and wharf. Short drive to Matheson's Bay swimming beach, surf at Pakiri and Omaha, snorkel at Goat Island and explore Marine Discovery Centre. Ten mins drive to trendy Matakana with market shops and cinema. Tawharanui Regional Park, Great Barrier and Kawau Islands are right on our doorstep. Omaha and Warkworth Golf Courses are both nearby, Scupltureum - Auckland's No. 1 visitor attraction is only 10 minutes drive.

Turn off State Highway 1 at Warkworth and head towards Matakana. Leigh is 10 minutes further on, right on the coast.

Leigh Central has been re-purposed from its former life as an old hotel.
Stage 1 - 'The Coastels' motel accommodation is complete.
Stage 2 - Our short stay Motorhome and Caravan Park is now open with optional self-contained or bathroom facilities provided.
Stage 3 - Our Function Rooms and Commercial Kitchen are complete and available for hire. Please contact us for more details.
Stage 4 - Boatshed Cabins are now available with Queen and Twin options.
Stage 5. The Bach - a 2 bedroom standalone cottage is added - ( sleeps 60.
Payment Policy
In order to secure and confirm your booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the total booking or $500, whichever is the smaller amount. The balance of your payment is due 10 days before your arrival. In cases where the commencement of your stay is less than 10 days ahead, the full amount is required at the time of booking.
For bookings made from New Zealand, our preferred method of payment is via Internet Banking to our bank account - Leigh Central Limited 02-0528-0275600-000. We also accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards and cash. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received into our bank account.
Credit card transactions will show on your statement as Leigh Central.
Cancellation Policy
Leigh Central Limited Cancellation Policies (updated 1 April 2022).
Our cancellation terms are not negotiable and we recommend guests have travel insurance. Please note that third party websites have different terms and conditions and all cancellation requests must be made directly with the agent you booked with. For best rates and terms we always recommend you book directly with us.
General Policy - applies to all bookings except those made with Booking.Com*-
Standard Cancellation Policy including those relating to COVID 19 as this is now a known risk. ( In the case of future COVID Lockdowns, we will amend our policy accordingly).
All cancellations must be made no less than 7 days prior to arrival, or the total cost of the booking will be charged.
*Whilst we have no desire to be punitive, cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival represent a serious loss of income opportunity for our small business.
In the event that a guest wishes to re-book once for a later date within the following 90 days, the deposit paid may be carried over as a credit. In cases where we are able to re-book the cancelled accommodation, a full refund may be given although we reserve the right not to refund in certain cases.
Peak Season Cancellation Policy
The above conditions apply however the cancellation period is one month as per below;-
All cancellations must be made no less than 1 month prior to arrival for dates:
Christmas / New Year 21st Dec to end of Waitangi Weekend,
Easter Weekend Good Friday - Easter Monday
or the total cost of the booking will be charged.

Amendments can only be accepted for bookings made directly with us or via our own website and at the discretion of management. Booking are not transferable unless you have our written agreement.
Amendments will not be accepted for bookings made via an agent or other third party including online travel sellers.
Amendments received within 72 hours of arrival may be treated as cancellations.
Amendments which result in a reduction in the total booking value will be treated as cancellations.
Conduct:
We are part of a residential neighbourhood and in respect for others, we ask all guests to behave in a considerate manner. No loud noise after 10pm. Excessive drinking and parties are not permitted.
Absolutely no smoking or vaping in our accommodation or venue buildings.
Pets
We do not take pets in the Motel, Cabin or Bach accommodation ( including staying in guest's cars) but well behaved pets may stay in our Motorhome park with their owners.
Child Policy
Children ( 2 yrs and up) will be charged at the nominated rate. Infants up to 2 years are free provided they do not take up an additional bed for themselves. We reserve the right to charge for any additional clean-up required after an infant has stayed.
Check In Policy
Self-check-in after 2pm.
All Coastels and Boatshed Cabins are fitted with a Keypad Entry Door accessed by a unique code which we will forward to you prior to your arrival. Please ensure we have your correct contact details so we are able to email or text you this number. If you have not received your code within 48 hours of arrival time, please contact us on 021 2460757 . The Bach is accessed via a lockbox, the coe of which will be sent prior to your arrival.
