BY ROAD - from the A303 take the 'Chapel Cross' turn-off signed for Sutton Montis, South Cadbury & Corton Denham. Follow signs to South Cadbury. Go through village & continue along same road for approx .25 mile before taking left turn up hill signed for Sherbourne.

Additional Information

Dogs are allowed in the bar , terrace and gardens. We also have one dog friendly bedroom which is on the ground floor, when booking please let us know if you wish to bring your dog. A Dog supplement of £15 per night is payable. Standard weekend rates apply on Friday & Saturday Nights.

Payment Policy

All bookings must be paid at time of reservation. All major credit cards accepted except Diners Club or American Express.

Dog only in room 6 £15 per night extra, dogs are allowed in bar and on the terrace.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible Rate Bookings - Individual
7 days from check in (3pm), otherwise 100% cancellation charge of the whole booking will apply. Cancellations can only be made via email no telephone cancellation are taken
For bookings made between 23rd December - 1st January they need to be cancelled by 31st August or 100% cancellation fee will be charged, For Christmas and New Year bookings cancelled before 31st August a 50% cancellation charge will be incurred.
Flexible Rates - Group bookings
Non-Refundable £50 per room at time of booking. Group booking rooms not cancelled 30 days before check in (3pm), 100% cancellation charge of the room booking will apply. Group bookings must be two nights at weekends.
We strongly advise all our guests to ensure they have travel insurance in place should guests need to cancel within the cancellation period.

Child Policy

Children up to 12 years of age can share executive rooms on a z bed, children 2-12 are £35.00 per night. Children under 2 are free unless cot and linen required, then a charge of £10 per night is payable.

Privacy Policy

Dear Guest

We firmly believe that a joint effort is required between our team and our guests to ensure everyone’s safety. In return we will be doing the same for you. Importantly, we will not allow any member of our team displaying symptoms inside our establishment and we would ask you exercise the same cautionary approach.



Cleaning

As a hotel, restaurant and bar, we already operate within strict cleaning and health and safety measures, but we will now be taking extra steps to ensure that all areas are thoroughly sanitised, clean and complaint.

All team members will be trained in these new standards and timings of cleaning
Check in will now be 4pm, rather than 3pm, to allow for more time to clean guest bedrooms.
We’ll provide hand sanitiser for staff and guests at every possible opportunity.
We will not enter your bedroom after you have checked in, throughout the duration of your stay. If you need anything replenishing for your room please ask a member of staff and it will be provided to you.


Physical Distancing

Maintaining a physical distance from others is absolutely essential to stop the spread of the virus but we believe it does not mean we can’t be sociable. We prefer the term physical distancing, so that it doesn’t feel like you can’t enjoy interacting with the team.

We’ll always adapt our service style to adhere to Government guidelines, and have adjusted table layouts in our bar, restaurant and terrace areas.



We love that our building is old, quirky and a bit different, but this can make it difficult for hard and fast rules. We’ll ask our guests to please use common sense and be responsible for your own physical distancing during your stay with us, when moving around the building for the wellbeing of you, other guests and the team. We will be asking our team to do the same for you.



Checking In & Out

We’re adapting our arrival, check in and check out process to speed this up, to support physical distancing and to ensure the safety of all guests and team members.

Each guest is asked to complete a pre registration form for your stay, this data is held securely and your card details destroyed after your stay with us.



Restaurant

In a restaurant it is virtually impossible to remove every risk. Therefore, our policy is to mitigate the risk through best practice and risk assessment. We’ll take all necessary measures to deliver minimum contact, ensure hygiene standards and physical distancing.

We’ll ask our guests to pre-book their breakfast time on arrival
Lunch and dinner reservations for room guests will be staggered to support physical distancing.
A sample menu will be available on the website and the days menu will be available for guests to peruse in their rooms.
Tables will be positioned the required distance apart in all our restaurants, in line with the latest government guidelines
