Southwark Apartments was built by Nigel and Julie Lundy in 2008. They soon extended the building after purchasing neighbouring land following the February 2011 earthquakes. The CBD has undergone massive reconstruction and experienced a large amount of additional travellers so more rooms were recently added with the addition of an extra wing which opened early 2016. The Lundy family have always been very involved day to day, and continue to provide regular support in the successful running of the apartments. The business has a friendly, family run atmosphere along with a high level of attention to detail.
With all the facilities modern travellers need including a shared commercial kitchen and lounge facilities, sky tv, free wifi, guest laundry, balconies, a courtyard to relax in and rooms built with comfort and convenience in mind, Southwark Apartments is a truly memorable place to stay.

Full payment is required upon arrival, unless approved other wise.
Booking Information
1) Check out time is 10am on your day of departure
2) Parking is strictly pre- reserved only. The cost per night is $15. Guests without a valid ticket on their dash board may be towed away at their own expense
3) The number of guests in the apartment should not exceed the number of guests declared on the booking confirmation. Should at any time the number of guests in your apartment exceed the number of guests detailed, Southwark Apartments reserves the right to terminate your reservation immediately without a refund or charge an extra persons fee to your account
4) Smoking is not permitted inside of the building. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning and any resulting loss of income may be charged to the credit card details registered by the guest, without notice. Please use the courtyard or balconies provided.
5) The property is not to be used for any illegal purposes
6) Any antisocial, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards guests or staff will not be tolerated and the guest will be immediately removed
7) No pets are permitted in the property
8) The rooms are fitted with smoke and heat detectors for your safety. If these detectors are set off accidentally through any reason by the guest resulting ina call out by either our fire alarm technician, the NZ fire service or both, the cost that may be passed on to the registered guest.
9) Bicycles, tools or flammables are not permitted in the building at any time.
10) You must return the swipe card at the end of your stay. A $5 fee may be charged to the registered guest credit card without notice.
11) We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage/ soiling/ additional cleaning, caused by any guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card. We will make every effort to advise the guest of the charge using the contact details provided.
12) Registered guests must be 18 years old or over.
Cancellation Policy
Standard cancellation policy is if cancelled up to 2 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled in 48 hours of arrival, 100% of the first night will be charged.
For non-refundable deals no refunds will be given, and no modifications can be made to the reservation.
