Lake View Motels finds its home amidst a backdrop of pine forests, offering all the conveniences you could desire. Our selection of 8 modern studio motel units exudes elegance and comfort, with complete heating systems. These units feature kitchenettes, televisions, spa baths, and sumptuous super king-size beds. Additionally, we offer tourist cabins, standard cabins, powered sites, and tent sites to cater to your preferences.
Property Facilities
The Holiday Park is on 50 acres of land and has two amenity blocks with kitchens, toilets and showers plus a coin-operated laundry. There is a camp shop, and pets are welcome. Only 45 minutes, drive to Aoraki/Mt Cook and 4km south of Twizel.

Payment Policy
All payments for bookings are due upon arrival unless otherwise specified in our cancellation policy for specific dates, holidays, or events. In the case of arrival outside of office hours, we reserve the right to charge the card used to secure the booking, unless alternative arrangements have been made with us.
If you prefer to prepay for your booking, please email us, and we can arrange to either charge your card or provide bank account details for direct payment. For any prepayment or deposit via direct credit, it is essential to contact us in advance of the payment due date to arrange the transaction; otherwise, your card on file will be charged.
Please note that all credit card payments processed by us will incur a 1.5% processing fee.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the total stay.
For cancellations made between 72 hours and 14 days prior to arrival, a fee equivalent to 100% of the first night will be charged.
Cancellations received more than 14 days before the arrival date will incur a $50 administration fee for accommodation and a $25 fee for sites.
The minimum cancellation charge is $25.
In the event of a no-show, the booking will be canceled, and the full reservation amount will be collected.
Changes resulting in a reduction of the booking will be treated as cancellations.
Any damage or excessive cleaning will incur a minimum charge of $150.
Christmas/New Year Period (23 December – 10 January):
A non-refundable 20% deposit on roofed accommodations and per site is due no later than 1 November. Failure to submit the deposit may result in the cancellation of accommodation without prior notice.
Check-in time is from 3 pm, and check-out is by 10 am.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking.
Failure to arrive on the specified date stated on the confirmation will result in automatic cancellation of the booking, with the unit/site being re-let by the property and forfeiture of the deposit.
Public Holidays & Salmon Wine Festival Weekend:
Cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled arrival will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the total stay.
For cancellations made between 14 and 30 days prior to arrival, a fee equivalent to 100% of the first night will be charged.
Cancellations received more than 30 days before the arrival date will incur a $100 administration fee for accommodation and a $50 fee for sites.

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, but we ask for your cooperation in adhering to these policies. They enable us to manage our operations effectively and ensure the best possible experience for all our guests.
Child Policy
Children up to 3 years old stay for free. Rates for children apply to those aged 4 to 15 years old. Ages 16 and over are charged at the adult extra person rate.

Check-In Time: Check-in is strictly from 3:00pm.
Reception Hours:
From June to September: 8:00am - 6:00pm.
From October to April: 8:00am - 8:00pm.
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive outside of our reception hours, don't worry! We've got you covered.
Instructions for all late arrivals will be posted on the reception door.
Look for an envelope on our after-hours arrivals board. Inside, you'll find the key, your room/site number, and a map to guide you to your accommodation.
Payments for late arrivals will be processed using the card provided during booking.
We want to ensure your arrival is smooth and hassle-free. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help make your stay enjoyable from the moment you arrive!
Caravans: All Caravans and mobile homes must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness before connecting to the Parks power supply.
Damage: You are liable for any damage you cause to our property or the property of other guests at the Park.
Pets: Pets are welcome but are the responsibility of the owners and must be kept under control at all times.
They are NOT PERMITTED inside any Park building or a $200.00 cleaning fee will be incurred.
Camp Rules: There are various Camp Rules regarding the use of the facilities, traffic management, pets, and general Park use.
A serious breach of those rules may result in you being asked to leave. In such circumstances no refunds will be made.
We ask for your co-operation so that your stay with us can be enjoyable for you and the other Park guests.
If any of these terms and conditions are breached you may be asked to leave the Park without a refund.
