Haruru Falls Motel and Conference Centre is a motel set amongst 5 acres of grounds in front of unique Haruru Waterfalls (meaning Big Noise in Te Reo), directly opposite native Kiwi Habitat and just five minutes from Paihia, Bay Of Islands. The Motel offers guests a unique experience whilst having minimum impact on the surrounding landscape.

Communal bathroons /showers and kitchen, barbecue /picnic area with firepit, outdoor games available, during reception hours indoor games area , small open plan lounge /relaxation area. kayaks and lifejackets available for hire. Wifi, commercial kitchen available on request.

Location / Distances

Just three easy hours drive from Auckland, Haruru Falls Retreat, facing the Haruru Falls, at the bottom of Old Wharf Road and is located 3kms from Paihia wharf and Waitangi Treaty Grounds along Puketona Road. Alternatively a 30 minute flight from Auckland to Kerikeri Airport and another 15 minutes by taxi will have you arriving at Haruru Falls Retreat in under one hour.
