All rooms have a fridge, microwave, kitchenette and cooking equipment to cook basic meals during your stay. Our Superior Apartments have Full Kitchens, laundry facilities and also heat pumps.
We also supply complimentary fine tea and coffee as well as luxury toiletries.

we have a large car park at the back of the motel and can fit boats and tour buses.

Location / Distances

We are approx.10 minutes walk from the lake front and popular shops, bars and restaurants. We are nestled in to the golf course and 400m from the Mt Iron track. We are also about 10minutes walk from Puzzling world - a must when in Wanaka!! In winter some shuttle services will collect from the front of the Motel, so no stressful treks up the mountain!!

We are the first Motel as you arrive in Wanaka, on the state highway 6 from Cromwell, Christchurch and Haast. Just on the left hand side after the roundabout. Our official address is 2 MacPherson Street.

Payment Policy

Payment Policy:
We will immediately take payment for all Non-refundable bookings during peak times. We will give 48 hours grace period though after this these bookings are Non-refundable.
there will be a 2.0% credit card charge on all M/C, Visa, Amex 3.5% charge applies.

Cancellation Policy

Please take note of our Cancellation Policy.

We require 7 days in advance notice to cancel your booking with us. All cancellations incur an Administration Fee of the first night if cancelled within 7 days of check in date.
There will be no fee if we are given 7 days notice.

All "no shows" we reserve the right to charge the full amount of for your stay.

Office hours are from 8.00 am - 8.00 pm, daily.
Fairway Motel and Apartment is a NON-SMOKING establishment.
There is a $100 penalty to remove the smoke odour in the room and any other offensive smells, including cooking.

Check in time is 2pm-8pm. All out of hours check ins MUST be by prior arrangement.
Check out time is 10am a $50 fee per hour will be charged to guests for late check out if no pre approval given by management.

There will be a $50/hr excess cleaning fee that will be charged to your credit card if the accommodation requires any extra cleaning this includes dirty pots and pans etc.

One extra nights accommodation will be charged if the room is left in an unsaleable condition.

Large group bookings during peak times (Winter/Summer) will require a 25% deposit. This will be required within 48hours to secure the booking.

These are chargeable to your credit card. All calls are chargeable.
