Set beside the cool, clear Ashley River and surrounded by beautiful native and exotic bush, this a great place for relaxation or recreation. Great family camping with playground, mini ropes course and easy access to a great swimming river for all ages.
Property Facilities
Camp Shop Hours
The camp shop and office are available from 9.30am to 6.00pm during Summer ∧ 9.30am to 5pm in Winter. We stock a wide range of products, drinks and ice cream for your convenience.
Internet and Wifi
Thanks to the Internet Kiosk Specialist Ltd, we now have internet, there are Credit Card or Voucher pay systems (available from camp shop) for your convenience. No need to feel isolated while on holiday. Mobile phones: Vodafone reception is pretty good, just don't move once you have a connection. Telecom not so good, so tell your boss you are out of range.
Kitchens and ablutions
2 kitchens located in the centre of the camp, with , laundry, toilets and showers in the same block.
Kitchens
Contain jugs, toasters, microwaves, cooking elements, ovens and fridge freezers. Put your name on all food your are storing in the fridge or freezers. Kitchens may be locked between 10.30 pm and 7 am.
BBQs
Provided for your use. Leave clean for the next person.
Laundry
Washing machines (3 x $1 coins) and dryers (1 x $2 coin) are located in the laundry. Iron and ironing board provided. Turn off after use.
Showers
Operate on tokens which can be purchased from the office. 1 token = 5 minutes.
Cleaning
The kitchen and ablutions block will be cleaned daily at 11am. During peak times cleaning will again be carried out in the evening.
Dump Station
Situated at corner of road to dormitories.
Basic Rules
Please observe the basic rules of the Holiday Parks Association of NZ. See Noticeboard. We ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests can be enjoyable.
PETS are not permitted in the campground or any of our roofed accommodation. We have 4 pet sites available outside the camp gate available on request.

Car Parking
One vehicle to be parked on own site only. No vehicles to be parked on camp road verges. Access ways to rear sites must be kept clear. Off-site extra parking for a second car or trailer and for all visitors not staying in the park is just beside the entrance to the camping area.

Electricity can only be connected through an approved RCD Safety Switch.
Please note we do not allow motorized toys, drones or generators within the campground. Any damage to property will be charged for. All visitors are to register at the camp office on arrival.
Payment Policy
PLEASE NOTE!- No booking is confirmed until deposit is paid.
Balance of fees to be paid on ARRIVAL.

No refunds for early departures.
Minimum guests & stay applies over the Dec/Jan period and Long Weekends.
Specific site subject to alteration if management find it necessary.
All caravans, campers must have current Electrical Certificate of Fitness prior to connecting to Ashley Gorge Holiday Park power points.
Bookings over Christmas/New Year period 24th Dec to 5th Jan must be fully paid in advance.
Please be aware all visitors to your site are by courtesy of management and may incur a day fee. No visitors are permitted over Xmas/ NY.
All credit card transactions incur a 2% surcharge
Any damage to our property will be charged for & any additional cleaning that is required will incur a cleaning fee starting from $50.00
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - No refunds given for cancellations under 14 days.
No Show = No refund - Any booking cancelled with more than 14 days notice will receive a refund of their deposit less $25.00 admin fee and any card charges. - No refund for any booking cancelled within 14 days of arrival date unless unit or site can be relet for entire time for booking. - No refund for any booking cancelled within 24 hours of arrival.
Child Policy
Please supervise children at all times to keep them safe. Bikes may be ridden in the park, but please make sure they wear helmets and do not ride out near the main gate.
