Sandspit Holiday Park is family-friendly where guests can enjoy safe swimming, native bush walks and great channel and boat fishing right on their doorstep.
When you are not relaxing in the park, kayaking around the bay or having a bounce on the trampoline, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
The surrounding area boasts a range of outdoor activities including close encounters with sea life in the Goat Island marine reserve, wine tasting at the popular local vineyards or walks along countless white sandy beaches and bays.
Property Facilities
Sandspit Holiday Park has all the facilities you need to enjoy your holiday with a very modern facility block comprising of toilet and shower rooms, family ensuite rooms and a very large communal kitchen and outdoor eating area. Large BBQ area, laundry, Library, Games Room and Trampoline, Free Kayaks, Giant Art Trail and Bush walks

Space is available for 1 vehicle at your cabin or on your campsite. Please advise and book a space for any extra vehicles

Directions to Property
From Auckland (via toll road)
- Take State Highway 1 from Auckland
- The highway will continue to Puhoi
- Once through the tunnel you will continue on SH1 to Warkworth
- Turn right at the second set of lights at the northern end of Warkworth towards Sandspit
- Take the Sandspit turnoff 5km from Warkworth
- Travel to the end of the road
From Auckland (bypassing toll road)
- Take State Highway 1 north from Auckland
- Turn off at the Orewa interchange
- Follow the road to the first roundabout and turn left
- Go straight through the second roundabout
- At end of the road turn left at the lights and follow road to Warkworth (via Hadfields Beach and Waiwera)
- Turn right at the second set of lights at the northern end of Warkworth towards Sandspit
- Take the Sandspit turnoff 5km from Warkworth
- Travel to the end of the road
From Whangarei
- Take highway 1 south from Whangarei
- Turn left at the first set of lights at the northern end of
Warkworth towards Sandspit
- Take the Sandspit turnoff 5km from Warkworth
- Travel to the end of the road
Additional Information
We are a quiet family camp with a strict 10.30pm 'Quiet Time' and a 'No Party' policy. Any breaches in these conditions may result in the removal from the property.
Payment Policy
A Deposit of the first nights charge is required to confirm a booking.
Summer bookings will usually require a higher deposit and will be advised in your deposit request email.
Confirming this booking means that you agree to, and will abide by, all park rules outlined in our terms and conditions and that you are fully responsible for all the costs incurred by yourself and or your group/visitors.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are refunded only if we are notified more than 5 days prior to arrival less a $20 cancellation fee.
Christmas/January, Long Weekends & and Public Holidays; Deposits are Non-Refundable.
Deposits are taken as confirmation of the complete period you have booked.
In case of cancellation you will be charged a minimum fee per day for the dates confirmed.
Peak/Busy periods have a minimum stay and charge per night.
Conditions Policy
We are a family park and have a very strict '10.30pm Quiet Time' policy and 'NO PARTY' policy.
