Maxies Retreat is our fabulous new, authentically Australian shearer's quarters style lodge facility with disabled access and suitable for up to 12 guests in two double bedrooms and four twin bedrooms.
All rooms have access to full kitchen facilities, barbecue, microwave, indoor & outdoor dining. Air-conditioned & heated. Five star bedding, woollen duvets and electric blankets.

Directions to Property
ROAD CLOSURES
Guests are responsible to check that all roads along their route are open.
A few days prior to arrival, please email reservations@corynniastation.com.au to check the conditions of the unsealed roads into our property if there has been wet weather.
We have two entries to our property from the Sturt Highway and we will need to guide you to the most suitable entrance. In wet conditions some roads into our property will be closed if impassable.
FUEL & GROCERIES:
Fill your fuel tanks and purchase any supplies in a major town.
Carrathool and Corynnia Station do not have fuel or shops.
DIRECTIONS FROM SYDNEY AND CANBERRA :
The most direct route is via Yass, Harden, Temora, Ardlethan and Griffith to Corynnia Station. The alternative route is via Wagga Wagga, Carrathool to Corynnia Station.
DIRECTIONS FROM HAY -
DRY ROAD ACCESS ONLY
Take the Sturt Highway from Hay towards Narrandera and travel 55k.
Turn left off the highway over the Murrumbidgee River into Carrathool.
Cross the railway line and follow the bitumen road, currently under construction, for approximately 25k to Corynnia Station.
Ours is the first mailbox on the right which is a large white drum signed 'Corynnia'.
Proceed through gates and follow the sign to the homestead compound - approximately 5.5k.
Please leave gates as you find them.
DIRECTIONS FROM GRIFFITH - gravel road access may be closed during wet conditions if unsafe
Take the Kidman Way from Griffith north, towards Hillston.
Travel approximately 25kms from Griffith to Tabbita (see wheat silos on right).
Turn left into Tabbita Lane and travel approximately 23k.
Turn left at Cameron Road onto unsealed, gravel road.
We are situated at the end of Cameron Road so proceed past 'No Through Road' sign and over three grids.
Directly after the third grid, turn left towards homestead compound.
DIRECTIONS FROM HILLSTON - gravel road access may be closed when wet if unsafe
Take the Kidman Way towards Griffith from Hillston.
Turn right at roundabout beside Goolgowi on the Mid Western Hwy towards Hay.
Travel 8k then turn left onto Merrondale Lane. Travel approximately 8k to T intersection.
Turn right onto Tabbita Lane.
Take first left onto unsealed Cameron Road. Continue past 'No Through Road' sign and over three grids (approx 17ks unsealed road). Turn left directly after the third grid into the homestead compound.

Full payment is required to secure all reservations.
Refunds and postponements apply as outlined in our Cancellation Policy below.
Cancellation Policy
A full payment by credit card is required to secure all reservations.
Cancellations will be accepted at least 14 days prior to arrival ex 1.5% card fee by email only and in reply to your confirmation email.
NSW school holiday bookings are only cancellable more than 30 days prior to arrival for full refund ex 1.5% card fee. Request by email only and in reply to your booking confirmation email.
Christmas, New Year, Easter and long weekend reservations are non-cancellable within 30 days.
Reservations will be fully refunded ex 1.5% card fee if there is no road access to our property due to wet weather.
We recommend Travel Insurance cover for unexpected cancellation where refunds or postponements will not apply.

Child Policy
Parents must supervise their children AT ALL TIMES for their safety.
Farms can be a very busy place with movement of vehicles and machinery.
Children must not enter sheds or work areas or climb onto machinery or vehicles.
Check In Policy
Check in is between 2pm and 7pm and preferably arriving during daylight hours.
Check out is 10am unless a late check out has been arranged with your hosts prior to arrival.
Guests must be aware of and adhere to government Covid rules at all times.
Being a working station we are not usually in the office but do check our emails and messages at least twice a day or as regularly as possible.
Late check out fees of a minimum of $100 will apply to guests who choose to disregard our check out policy.
Lost key charge $100.
The Terms and Conditions upon which the property of Corynnia Station is offered when booked and occupied for short or long stays or group accommodation, are covered by the terms of this agreement between the hosts and Guest/s.
General requirements
Guests and Visitors must comply with all House Rules, By-Laws and instructions from the hosts during their stay; and Guests must notify the hosts of any disputes or complaints from neighbours as soon as is practicable. Corynnia Station reserves the right to evict guests from the property if any of the following criteria are not met. If evicted due to breaching our ‘House Rules’, no monies shall be refunded and a fee may apply.
If additional guests are brought in without the written agreement of management an additional charge will be debited to the credit card of the booking guest who is responsible for anyone who is brought on to our property. The charge is decided at the discretion of management so guests are strongly advised to follow this condition.
Noise and Residential Amenity
Guests and Visitors must not create noise which is offensive to occupiers of our other cottages especially between 8pm - 8am and during arrival and departure at any time throughout the occupancy. Guests and Visitors must not engage in anti-social behaviour and must minimise their impact upon the other guests and hosts.
Guests shall not act in an unruly or disruptive manner and shall not interfere with or impact on our other guests’ enjoyment. Guests shall also refrain from using offensive language, making obscene gestures, throwing objects and possessing prohibited or illegal items. Offensive and excessive noise is prohibited and may result in termination of permission to occupy the property, resulting in eviction with loss of monies paid. Guests may incur extra charges for security, damages and other expenses which will be deducted from the Security Deposit or Bond under the Terms and Conditions of our House Rules.
Additional Guests
No additional guests allowed in rooms or cottages.
There is a shared fully equipped kitchen/dining room for The VIP Homestead Suite, TheBarracks and The Pink Palace and another fully equipped kitchen/dining room in Maxie's Retreat. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas.
BBQs are located outside. Please the sure to turn off the gas at the bottle when you are finished. Spare gas bottles are available from the homestead and we will fit a replacement bottle upon request.
We are a licensed premise and offer a range award winning Calabria Family Wines, beers, ciders and carbonated drinks.
Guests are not to take anything from the cottages, rooms or kitchens.
Pet Friendly
Well behaved dogs are very welcome following these pet guidelines:
A reservation must be made for your dog and prior agreement made as to whether it is suitable for you to have your dog inside by arrangement if it is well behaved, small, house trained and can be kept off beds and furniture.
Please keep your dog away from other guests for the safety of all guests who may also not be dog lovers.
Not all dogs are welcome to sleep overnight inside cottages in respect of other guests and our property. We have two enclosures that can be reserved for your dog.
Dogs are not permitted in any kitchen areas.
Dogs are not permitted inside cottages unattended and must be outside during the day.
Dogs must be leashed at all times as we have two orphan kangaroos and ground nesting birds in the garden. Do not leash your dog in public areas around walkways or doorways. No damage to screen doors please.
No barking.
Collect all droppings in a plastic bag and dispose of in the incinerator.
Your dog must be fully immunised.
Be aware that we have unspayed dogs on our property.
Charges will apply if there is any damage caused or if there is more cleaning than usual because of your dog/s.
Charges will also apply if guests take their pets inside without authorisation.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside any building of Corynnia Station or in the vicinity of other guests in common outdoor area i.e. campfire areas, pool, terrace.
Smoking is permitted in the garden well away from accommodation and guests. Do not dispose of cigarette butts in garden beds, lawns or on paved areas. Bottles for buts are under the kitchen sink. Fire danger is a real concern so please no smoking on the farm.
Parking
Parking in designated and signed areas outside garden cottages.
Housekeeping
Your co-operation would be highly regarded and greatly appreciated.
Dishes and utensils are washed and put away immediately after use. Please do not use our bath towels for the pool. Either bring your own pool towels or we can supply pool towels at a reasonable cost.
Additional or extra rubbish (i.e. nappies) is placed in the incinerators located outside the cottages.
Please report all damages and breakages to your hosts.
If conditions are muddy, guests are required to remove their shoes when inside. If conditions are dusty, guests are required to keep all doors and windows of cottages closed.
Guests are to turn off all lights, heaters, air conditioners, electric blankets and any other electrical appliances when not in the cottages/rooms.
Compliance & Consequences
Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy. The Owners reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy resulting in eviction from the Property of any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance. The consequences of not complying with the Terms and Conditions requirements can include enforcement action from the Owner &/or Manager, security services, local councils or, in some instances, the Police.
Privacy Policy
No access to the homestead, other farmstay accommodations or farm cottages.
Due to OH&S regulations no access to sheds, farm work areas or machinery.
Access to woolshed and paddocks with permission from your hosts and we can provide you with a mud map to see what is happening on the farm during your visit.
Guests will not take anything from any buildings, sheds or from our property.
Photos
* Photos of your accommodation, gardens, paddocks, crops and animals are welcomed.
* No photos of feedlot or working with sheep unless permission is granted by your hosts.
* Footage from drones allowed under 500 feet with permission from hosts.
* Photos and film posted on social media please #Corynnia Station and @CorynniaStation.
