Directions to Property

Ballintaggart Farm, The Cook School by Ballintaggart and The Grandtully Hotel by Ballintaggart are all easily accessible by car. We are 1 hours 30 minutes from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

For Ballintaggart Farm and The Cook School by Ballintaggart.

From the south, take the A9 north of Perth and after passing Dunkeld take the left turn onto the B898 sign-posted for Dalguise, Kinnaird and Balnaguard. Follow this road for seven miles. On leaving the village of Balnaguard, Ballintaggart Farm and The Cook School by Ballintaggart are the first driveway on the left, clearly signposted. If you reach our neighbours at Sketewan Farm or Grandtully, you have gone to far.

From the north leave the A9 at Ballinluig and follow the A827 towards Aberfeldy. After 3.5 miles, at a T junction, turn left on the B898 signposted Balnaguard and Dalguise. Follow this road for a mile, passing Sketewan Farm on the left hand side. The entrance to Ballintaggart is after this on the right hand side and is clearly signposted. If you reach the village of Balnaguard, you have gone too far.

Coming from either the north or south on the A9, take the A827 junction signposted for Ballinluig, Grandtully and Aberfeldy. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles. At the T-Junction, turn right and on entering the village of Grandtully the hotel is located on the left hand side, next to the Highland Chocolatier.

Payment Policy

Full pre payment of your accommodation is taken at the time of booking. All extras (dinner, drinks, bike hire, masterclass) will be charged on departure.

For single-person occupancy we discount the displayed tariffs by £20.00 per night per room.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by you within 28 days of your booking, or non-attendance without notice, you will be charged in full if we are unable to re-let the room. If we are able to re-let the room we will refund the amount back to you, less a £15 cancellation fee. There will be no charge for cancellations made 28 days or more from the scheduled arrival date.

Child Policy

At Ballintaggart Farm, children aged 14 years and over are welcome at Ballintaggart, (provided they take their own room). Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate children under 14 years of age.

Children are welcome to stay at The Grandtully Hotel. There is an additional cost of £30 for this. Travel cots are available for children under the age of 2 at no additional cost.
